Philippines News Perth’s first ever venture into event production via the fundraiser “Bethlehem’s Got Talent: The Musicale” surpassed expectations.
Collaborating with ORAGON Western Australia, “BGT The Musicale” raised a gross proceeds close to AUD12,000 for the typhoon victims of Bicol, Philippines. More than raising funds for charity, the show also entertained a capacity crowd at the Livingston SDA Church on 22 December 2024.
“This has got to be one of the funniest Christmas musical I have ever seen,” said Janine Labrador in a social media post.
Honorary Consul to Western Australia Melissa Dalisay Aguasa, who watched the entire show with her immediate family and the volunteers from the Philippines Consulate, congratulated the show producers and the cast for what she said was a great show despite the short preparation.
